Chris Medina es un cantante norteamericano nacido en Chicago en 1983 y ha lanzado su sencillo "What Are Words" el 25 de febrero de 2011, el día después de su eliminación en el American Idol. La canción habla de su novia, quien sufrió una lesión cerebral como resultado de un accidente de coche el 2 de octubre de 2009. Quizás el tema ha tocado la fibra sensible de los nórdicos y por ello esté esta semana en el número 1 de Suecia y Noruega.

"What Are Words" es una canción escrita por Rodney Jerkins, Andre Lindal & Lauren Christy. El video tiene una dosis extra de emotividad al mostrar a Chris junto a su novia en su casa junto a un letrero que dice "Creo en los milagros".

Sin duda, el tema tiene una gran carga de emotividad al tratar de hechos reales y muy cercanos al cantante.
